The bright and spacious Ocean View Penthouse has everything you need for a beachside self-catering holiday. Located on the third floor of Ocean View in Woolacombe the penthouse enjoys unrivalled sea views stretching from Baggy Point at the far end of Woolacombe’s three mile long golden beach back towards Barricane Beach, a small secluded cove situated just across the road from the apartment.
The open plan living area is the ideal spot for relaxing and watching the world go by. On a warm summer’s day watch families splash in the shallows on the award-winning beach, whilst in the winter admire the waves pounding against the rocks.
The living area features a comfy lounge with large sofas and a smart TV, it is here that guests can really take advantage of the breathtaking sea views. Behind the lounge is a dining area with a table to seat up to four and a well-equipped kitchen with a good range of appliances.
Pull back the curtains in the Master Bedroom to reveal stunning sea views. The Master Bedroom has a king size bed and benefits from its own en-suite shower room.
The second bedroom is a good-sized double/twin with zip and link beds. The bedroom, which is normally set up as a twin, can on request be made up as a super-king size double making it ideal for either a second couple or two children.
The large family bathroom is fitted with a walk-in shower, a WC and a wash basin.
Ocean View Penthouse boasts a fantastic beachside location - step over the road and find yourself at Barricane where the tide laps over the crushed-shell shore. A beautiful, secluded bay, Barricane is perfect for sea swims, lazy summer days and sunsets. The seasonal café provides delicious bites to eat and warming mugs of tea, whilst at night, it serves up traditional Sri-Lankan curries to treat your tastebuds.
Stroll along the South West Coast Path in search of the quiet Grunta Bay, or walk towards the heart of the village where you’ll find the main beach. Patrolled during summer months by RNLI lifeguards, Woolacombe Beach stretches for 3 miles to Putsborough and is great for surfing and family-friendly days. Woolacombe itself has a handful of bars, pubs, restaurants, delis and shops catering for all tastes, so you can enjoy nights off from the kitchen and dine by the sea.
Head up the hill from Ocean View Penthouse to reach Mortehoe and step onto the South West Coast Path keeping your eyes peeled for seals as you pass Morte Point. Wander on to Bull Point Lighthouse and down to Lee where Sandy Cove Beach is revealed at low tide and the water is great for kayaking.

To secure a booking at Ocean View Penthouse we require a 30% deposit (plus a small booking fee to cover administration) with the outstanding balance due eight weeks prior to your arrival. A refundable £500.00 security/damage deposit is also required and taken alongside the balance.
